Build a culture of ownership. Empower your leaders to replace blame and control with clarity, commitment, and ownership.
Thursday, August 27, 2026 | 12:00–4:00 p.m. ET | Live virtual session
In this live, virtual Train‑the‑Trainer program, your internal leaders and HR/L&D partners will learn to facilitate The Sherpa Library's Accountability & Expectations workshop using a clear, step‑by‑step process and practical tools you can apply immediately, so they can spread clear expectations, positive accountability, and shared responsibility across teams.
Over four focused hours, participants will master practical tools like Weakness Mountain, Expectation Mountain, and Accountability House—frameworks that help teams see where work really lives, what success looks like, and what gets in the way of follow‑through. Instead of relying on occasional external training, you’ll develop in‑house facilitators who can run this workshop again and again, reinforcing a consistent language for ownership, expectations, and results.
This program is designed for managers, HR and learning leaders, internal coaches, and independent coaches who want to bring a proven accountability workshop to their organizations or clients.
You do not need to be a current Sherpa coach to attend; this course is open to Sherpas and non‑Sherpas.
Why Take This Course?
- Scalable, ready‑made Accountability & Expectations workshop HR and L&D can deploy without building content from scratch.
- Proven Sherpa tools (Weakness Mountain, Expectation Mountain, Accountability House) that give leaders a common language for ownership, expectations, and follow‑through.
- Leaders stop “owning” everyone else’s work and instead set explicit expectations and coach through missed commitments in a constructive way.
- Stronger culture of accountability and engagement, with better execution on strategic priorities and more consistent leadership development across the organization.
What You Will Learn
By the end of this 4‑hour session, you will be able to:
- Facilitate the Accountability & Expectations workshop using a tested agenda and workbook structure.
- Guide participants through Weakness Mountain to move from vague frustrations to specific, measurable behavior changes.
- Use Expectation Mountain to teach managers how to set clear expectations through communication, commitment, consequences, and ongoing coaching.
- Lead teams through Accountability House (Kitchen, Dining Room, Living Room) to clarify “what am I accountable for,” “who am I accountable to/for,” and what gets in the way.
- Navigate sensitive discussions around comfort zones, fear, blame, and “true outcomes” without derailing the conversation.
- Help participants connect accountability and expectations to real business impact: clarity, teamwork, focus, morale, and leadership.
